Day 1 – Arrive San Jose
Welcome to Costa Rica! A tropical Paradise surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Tonight you will have a pickup at the airport where you will be transferred to your nearby airport hotel. Get a good night sleep as we have an early morning adventure on the river tomorrow.
Day 2-3 – Pacuare River Rafting / La Fortuna
After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the Pacuare River where we will be rafting into our riverside lodge – our home for the next two days. We will have one full day to enjoy a variety of adventures – hiking, waterfall visits or even riverside yoga.
Day 4-5 – La Fortuna
Today we will say goodbye to our riverside Lodge, but not before rafting our way downriver. After our rafting adventure, we will be transferred to La Fortuna, at the base of the Arenal Volcano where we will spend the next 3 nights.
On Day 5 we will have a morning Volcano hike of Arenal National Park. In the afternoon we will enjoy the Paradise Hotsprings with dinner included.
Day 6 – Tamarindo
Pack your bags, we are now starting our journey to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country! Departing La Fortuna, we make our way to the pacific coast for a change of scenery in the Guanacaste region – specifically Tamarindo where we spend the next 3 nights On arrival we can explore our new home for the next few days and get acquainted with the beach which is at our doorstep.
Day 7-8 – Tamarindo
On our first day in Tamarindo we have a free day, enjoy the beach or the hotel pools or opt for a surf lesson (not included).
On day 8 we enjoy a catamaran + snorkel activity along the pacific coast. Enjoy a light lunch and drinks onboard, enjoy the pristine waters and afternoon sunset before returning back to your hotel.
Day 9 – Depart Liberia
This Costa Rica Holiday comes to an end today. There are no activities planned for the final day. You will have one group transfer back to Liberia Airport during the day.
